Textile-to-mortar bond behavior: An analytical study

نویسندگان

چکیده

Reliable design and application of textile-reinforced mortar (TRM) composites for the repair existing masonry concrete structures requires a fundamental understanding textile-to-mortar bond behavior as one main mechanisms controlling their nonlinear response cracking behavior. Suitable test setups analytical models are needed to extract bond-slip laws from experimental pull-out tests. This paper proposes new law model, which predicts lime cement-based TRM considering slip hardening softening effects observed in For this purpose, specimens with different fiber types (steel glass), lengths, age analyzed, slip-laws extracted. The accuracy developed model is shown by comparing results.

An Analytical Approach to the Impact of Urban Physical Aspects on Culture and Behavior

Culture has always been regarded as the most important element of human communities; we can easily observe cultural changes. What causes these changes has been a matter of controversy. The issues such as people’s increasingly getting detached from each other, psychopathy, behavioral abnormalities, traditions being increasingly faded away, malformation, extravagancy and value conversion into ant...

An Analytical Study of Initial Shear Behavior of Plain Woven Hybrid Fabrics

During recent years, the fabrics made from different yarns have been used for industrial purposes such as composite materials. Given the importance of the shear properties of these fabrics, a mechanical model based on the Grosberg and Park's Model for hybrid plain-woven fabrics is proposed. In this model, using the Energy method, the initial load-shear angle behavior of hybrid fabrics is calcul...

Compressive Behavior of Recycled Mortar After Exposure to High Temperatures

The possibility of using fine recycled concrete aggregate as a substitute for natural sand are relatively limited. In order to promote it for engineering application, this paper reports the effect of elevated temperatures from room temperature to 600C on the compressive behavior of mortars containing recycled fine concrete aggregate was investigated. It is found that no obvious relation between...
